The Thinker

Okay, so here it is. My first blog post here. I was told a couple weeks ago that I am a "thinker" and I totally agree with that statement. And normally I love to share my thoughts with someone. Whether it be my best friend or some one else in my life. So I thought "Why not join the blogging world?" Get some thoughts out of my head. Lately I've been coming to some crossroads in my life. "What am I going to do?", "When am I going back to school?", "What's my major?", and "Is this the direction God wants my life to go in?" I sat down and talked with a pastor from my church a couple weeks ago and he was very helpful about ways to get where I wanted to be. Which, as of right now, I feel like God has called me to work in ministry with children. He told me what would be a good major, what kinds of extra courses I could take, and even set up a discipleship relationship for me with three other women. I definitely feel like God has been working wonders in my life lately. Since then I've talked to a few people about what I have decided and have gotten some great feedback. Which has definitely been encouraging. As of now, I'm just working on getting some experience under my belt. I am planning on enrolling for the fall semester as a major in Elementary Education and taking some religion courses, either through the local university or online. I'm praying that God gives me strength and direction. As for anything else..I'm closing up here. I'm tired, need to get some things done before I go to sleep and have church.
